Dr. Sandip Kumar Dutta served as Scientist - D at the Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, under the Central Silk Board of Government of India, Ministry of Textiles. Based in Berhampore, West Bengal, Dr. Dutta is a prominent figure in sericulture research. His contributions to the field have significantly advanced the science and practice of silk production, reinforcing India's position in the global silk industry. Dr. Dutta's work is instrumental in enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of sericultural practices, benefiting both the industry and the rural communities involved in silk farming. He is the solo author of the book "Taxonomic Review of Rot Disease Concept with a Brief Emphasis on Som Plant" (ISBN 978-81-7525-961-4) and has published 24 research papers in renowned journals as Scientist. Additionally, Dr. Dutta has authored several reports and pamphlets and is actively involved in social welfare activities. Dr. Dutta is also the Founder of Natun Diganta Trust and Together We Can.
